    Greetings,

    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (L / 2116) and the date (11/25/1441), referred to in the letter of the General Authority of Customs No. (087356-41-18) and the date (11/16/ 1441) regarding its efforts in facilitating import and export procedures, facilitating trade exchange and achieving customer satisfaction, as one of the most important pillars of its strategy and in line with the Kingdom's 2030 vision for it to be a global logistical platform, the General Authority of Customs provided an initiative to pre-submit the customs declaration electronically through a clearing platform since 2017 This is to enable importers or exporters to provide the necessary documents to finish clearing procedures before the goods arrive at the customs outlets, and because of the advance electronic submission of many advantages such as the ability to finish clearing procedures before the arrival of the goods, as well as checking the documents well in advance of the arrival of the consignment, which raises the operational performance in the ports And it speeds up the pace of movement of goods as soon as they are unloaded from the ship, which helps the economy by increasing commercial traffic and reducing the time for goods to remain in customs outlets. Pre-submission procedures can be initiated by submitting a bill of lading the commercial fee only.​
